Is COVID-19 infection really something to be worried about?

Really worth living in fear all the time?

If you have high immunity, the answer is NO; but if you have low immunity, the answer is YES, and if you have any existing chronic disease, the answer is ABSOLUTELY YES! This lesson explains why.

As already taught & established in the lesson Principles of COVID-19 Disease, the symptoms & respiratory-diseases of a COVID-19 infection are just a consequence of low/under-developed/weak immunity; COVID-19 infection is not seen in people that have high immunity.

Therefore the direct answer to the question of this lesson is thus:

If your immunity is high you need not worry much, because at most you could experience mild to moderate flu-like symptoms which can be resolved by appropriate treatment; but if your immunity is low (which is certainly the case if you have any existing chronic disease), you need to be seriously worried and get on your toes to take immediate action to optimise your immunity and overall health, because this disease is seen to grow into other health complications which are life-threatening and all within a short time-frame of just 14 to 21 days from the start of the initial symptoms.

Just in case you now ask: How to know if my immunity is low? – The answer to this question is given in great detail in the lesson How to know if I am at high risk to a COVID-19 infection?, which you can find from the lesson menu. But I urge you to go there after you go through this lesson. Let’s complete this lesson first.

What are the health complications of COVID-19 infection? What can it grow into if not treated?

During the initial stage when the virus enters your body, no immediate symptoms are felt. From thenceforth, the complications that the infection can cause depends on the condition of your immunity and overall health:

If you have high immunity:

If you have high immunity, the virus is overcome and thereby it’s replication & proliferation in the body is avoided.

If you have non-adapted immunity:

If your immune system is not yet adapted to the new virus, then you could experience mild to moderate flu-like symptoms (which is a natural immune response when you have non-adapted immunity to a new virus), which can be resolved after appropriate treatment.

If you have low immunity:

If you have low immunity, then at the initial stage of the infection you experience mild flu-like symptoms such as cough, sore-throat, running nose, sneezing, fatigue and muscle pain.

If no treatment is administered, the condition progresses further and you then experience symptoms such as high fever, nausea, diarrhea, anosmia (which is a lowered sense of smell), headaches, and mental fogginess.

If yet no appropriate treatment is administered, or a non-effective treatment is administered, lung tissues get damaged, and thereby serious symptoms such as shortness of breath, hypoxia, severe pneumonia and ARDS (i.e. acute respiratory distress syndrome) are seen.

If the condition is still not resolved by an appropriate treatment, the disease further progresses to negatively affect many other major organs. Cardiac injury, septic shock, and multiple organ system failure are the major fatal consequences seen, which in most cases lead to death.

⚠️ If you have any existing chronic disease:

If you have any existing chronic disease, the infection could directly cause life-threatening conditions, like pulmonary blood clots (which is blood clots in blood vessels in the lungs), and pulmonary edema (which is accumulation of water in the lungs); this is because, besides their immunity being low, the condition & function of their major organs is already compromised; and therefore such people could directly experience serious symptoms such as shortness of breath, severe pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome; without any initial mild to moderate symptoms.

This places people with any  existing chronic disease at the highest risk, not just at the highest risk to be infected, but also at the highest risk to life-threatening conditions from the infection.

How soon can it grow into a fatal condition if not treated?

COVID-19 disease is seen to have an incubation period of around 2-14 days.

In case of those with a healthy immune system but which is not yet adapted to the new virus, mild to moderate symptoms show up within these 14 days (which are symptoms of a natural immune response while it is adapting to the new virus and gradually negating it), but these symptoms are not seen to progress into more serious conditions.

In case of those with weak immunity, symptoms are seen to progress from mild to moderate to serious rather quickly within these 14 days.

And in those with any existing chronic disease, symptoms could directly progress into serious life-threatening conditions much sooner.

How soon can a COVID-19 infection be resolved after appropriate treatment is administered?

Each person’s recovery time varies, because recovery depends upon:

  • Stage of disease progression (initial, intermediate, advanced or critical)
  • Condition of immunity
  • Condition of overall health
  • Efficacy (effectiveness) of the treatment being administered

For example:

Those at the initial to intermediate stage of disease progression, with a comparatively better overall immunity & health status, and being administered an integrated & holistic treatment, are seen to recover within 3-7 days.

But those with an existing chronic disease (thereby low immunity & poor overall health status), tend to quickly progress into an advanced & critical stage, and need a longer time for recovery.

Summary & Conclusion:

We end this lesson by first reinforcing what’s taught in Lesson 1.

  • Your end-objective must never be to treat just COVID-19, neither to prevent just COVID-19, neither should it be to see just a “negative” result on a COVID-19 test report.

  • Why? Because by focusing on treating or preventing just COVID-19, you inevitably end up into a form of treatment that just suppresses symptoms and kills the virus; without really healing the whole body, optimising immunity and optimising your overall health; which increases the chances of you experiencing a recurrence of COVID-19.

  • Therefore, your end-objective must always be to achieve Holistic Healing, Optimal Immunity and Long-term wellbeing.

  • Focusing on these three end-objectives helps you choose only those forms of treatment that can in fact treat or prevent COVID-19 effectively, treat or prevent any other chronic disease, and guard your health against any future pandemic.

Please see the lesson – First, Establish Your End-Objectives to learn more about the Three End-objectives and the importance of always keeping them in mind prior to starting any treatment or healthcare program.

Finally, we summarise & reinforce the answer to the main question of this lesson…

⚠️ “Is COVID-19 really something to be worried about?”

ANSWER: If you have high immunity, the answer is No; but if you have low immunity, the answer is YES, and if you have any existing chronic disease, the answer is ABSOLUTELY YES.

What can we offer you in Heal Within™

Heal Within™ is primarily a chronic disease treatment & prevention centre, based on an Integrated & Holistic treatment protocol. Our focus and relentless pursuit is to help chronic disease patients achieve these Three Primary Objectives.

  • Objective 1: Holistic Healing
  • Objective 2: Optimal Immunity & Disease-Occurence/Recurrence Prevention
  • Objective 3: Long-term Wellbeing

To learn the details of the what & why of these end-objectives, and understand why it is crucial that you establish this in your mind first prior to starting any healthcare treatment or prevention program, please go to Lesson 1 – First, Establish Your End-Objectives (if you not already done so).

We use an advanced Integrated & Holistic Treatment approach, by which we diagnose the root causes to the patient’s diseases by specialised tests in all 10 Pillars of Health, and then treat those specific root causes by specialised therapies that induce holistic healing and not just suppress symptoms as done in main-stream medical treatments.

By this protocol, we have consistently helped numerous patients with all forms of diseases (right from Cancer, Heart disease, Stroke, Kidney disease, etc. to High blood pressure, diabetes, skin diseases, auto-immune diseases, infertility & other women issues, obesity etc.;) achieve these Three Primary Objectives.

If you have any chronic disease and not getting the desired positive results from your present treatment, or if you want to optimise your health to prevent occurrences of any chronic disease, or if you want to optimise your immunity for optimal prevention against COVID-19, then just send us an enquiry or come visit our centre and see how we can help you achieve the Three Primary Objectives.

We have both: a comprehensive service in-clinic program, and a DIY-at-home program (i.e. do it yourself at home program).

Our offerings:

  • Education: How to Prevent & Treat of Chronic Diseases (including COVID-19)
  • Diagnosis: Comprehensive health screening for Diseases & their Root Causes (including COVID-19)
